These Terms of Use (hereinafter referred to as “these Terms”) establish the conditions for using the Kyoto Prefecture Taxi Association website (https://kyoto-taxi.or.jp/) operated by the Kyoto Prefecture Taxi Association (hereinafter referred to as “the Association”). By using this site, you are deemed to have agreed to the following conditions. Please be aware of this.

・Please use the route and other information as reference only. Actual driving routes may be affected by road conditions, weather, and other factors, and may differ from the route displayed on the map. ・The routes shown on the map utilize Google Maps' route search service. Therefore, even if you select your departure point and destination from the search suggestions, the search function may not work properly. Additionally, the calculated route does not necessarily use expressways. ・Toll road (expressway) fees are not included. ・Fare calculations are simplified estimates based on distance-based fares derived from the distance between locations. In practice, an additional charge of 80 yen applies if driving at speeds below 10 km/h for a certain period. Therefore, the actual fare may differ from the calculated amount depending on weather conditions, road conditions, and the actual route taken during your trip. ・The displayed fare is an approximate amount calculated using the standard maximum fare for regular vehicles: an initial charge of 500 yen, plus 100 yen for every 255 meters thereafter. Please note that fare regulations vary by operating area. (Different rates apply in the Northern Kyoto Area [Tango, Chutan, Chubu Transportation Zone]).
・Additionally, a call-out fee may apply. For details, please contact the respective companies.
・For long-distance discounts, a 10% discount is applied to additional fares exceeding 9,000 yen. (Note: Some operators do not offer this.)
・For late-night/early-morning surcharges, an additional 20% is applied to the base fare for rides between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM. (Note: Some operators do not apply this surcharge.)
